Welcome to PrivatePDF. We understand that privacy is the most important factor when working with PDF files. This policy explains how we handle your data and ensures absolute transparency.PrivatePDF. 1. Core Commitment: Privacy by Design

Unlike traditional PDF tools that often require file uploads to a server, PrivatePDF prioritizes local processing.

Client-side Processing: For most tools (such as Merge, Split, Rotate, Sign, Compress PDF, Image to PDF, and editing tools), your files NEVER leave your device. Processing happens 100% in the browser, ensuring high speed and complete privacy. We cannot view the contents of your files.KHÔNG BAO GIỜ rời khỏi thiết bị. 2. Server-side File Conversion

To ensure the highest quality conversions for complex tasks like PDF to Word, Excel, PowerPoint (and vice versa), we need more powerful compute resources.

3. Data Security & Metadata

Data Transmission: All files transmitted between your client and our server are encrypted using HTTPS (TLS/SSL).

Metadata Handling: File metadata (such as file name, size, and processing timestamp) is stored temporarily in RAM only for the duration of the processing session. It is strictly not logged permanently and is purged immediately after the session ends.

4. Account Data & Google Scopes

When you log in with Google, we only access the following scopes: email, profile, and openid. We explicitly declare that our application DOES NOT request or access your Google Drive files (no drive.file or drive.readonly permissions). We only process files that you explicitly select from your local device.email, profile và openid. Account information we store (if you sign up) includes email and display name. This information is stored via our authentication provider and used for account identification and support. If you request account deletion, we will remove your account data within 07 business days.

5. Zero-Tracking Policy

We respect your privacy above all else:

6. Payment & Transactions

To ensure financial security, PrivatePDF does NOT store your credit card or bank account information.KHÔNG lưu trữ thông tin thẻ tín dụng hay tài khoản ngân hàng của bạn.

  • All transactions are processed directly by trusted global payment gateways: Lemon Squeezy and Sepay (for Vietnam).Lemon Squeezy và Sepay(Đối với Việt Nam).
  • We only receive transaction status (Success/Failure) to activate your Premium package.

7. Cookies & Local Storage

We use Cookies and Local Storage only for essential technical purposes:

  • Maintaining your login session.
  • Saving personal interface preferences (e.g., Light/Dark Mode, Language).

8. Data Retention

For Files:

  • Browser processing: Not stored (closing the tab deletes data).
  • Server processing: Automatically deleted within maximum 60 minutes.

For Accounts: Account information is stored until you request deletion.

PrivatePDF's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
