1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing PrivatePDF, registering an account, or starting a Trial (Trial), you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree with any of these terms, please stop using the service immediately.

2. How the Service Works & Responsibilities

PrivatePDF provides document processing tools with two main mechanisms:

Client-side processing: Most tools run directly on your device. Files are not sent anywhere.
Server-side processing: Some tools (format conversion) are processed temporarily in the cloud and deleted immediately (within 60 minutes).

For client-side processed files, we allow uploads up to 500MB for tools such as merge, split, compress, rotate, etc.

Note: For conversions from PDF to Word and PPT, we strictly limit the maximum size to 15MB so that your files can transfer smoothly without interruption.

Your Files: You retain full intellectual property rights to your files. We do not require ownership rights and are not responsible for the content of those files (including legality, copyright, or potential viruses).

3. Free Trial & Payment (Important)

We provide a 7-Day Free Trial program to allow you to fully experience Premium features before making a payment decision.Dùng thử 07 ngày miễn phí (7-Day Free Trial) để bạn trải nghiệm đầy đủ tính năng Premium trước khi quyết định trả phí.

Note: For the Vietnamese market, we currently do not support the free trial program.

Trial Process: When registering for a trial, you need to enter valid payment information. You will NOT be charged during the first 07 days.
Automatic Payment: If you do not cancel your subscription before the end of 07 days, the system will automatically charge the Premium package (Monthly or Yearly) that you initially selected.
How to Cancel Subscription: To cancel renewal or cancel trial, please follow one of these two methods:
1. Access the subscription management link ("Manage Subscription") in the confirmation email sent by our payment partner Lemon Squeezy when you registered.
2. Or send a cancellation request email to privatepdf.contact@gmail.com before the trial period ends.
Refund: After the trial period ends and payment has been made, we do NOT provide refunds due to the nature of digital products, except in cases of serious technical errors from our system.

4. Prohibited Actions

You are not allowed to:

Upload files containing viruses, malicious code aimed at attacking our processing systems.
Use the service to process documents that violate laws, are obscene, or incite violence.
Attempt to reverse engineer (Reverse Engineer), copy source code or interface of PrivatePDF.

5. Disclaimer (Disclaimer)

The service is provided on an "AS-IS" basis. We do not guarantee that the service will never be interrupted or error-free."NGUYÊN TRẠNG" (AS-IS). Chúng tôi không cam kết rằng dịch vụ sẽ không bao giờ bị gián đoạn hay không có lỗi.

Since processing depends on your browser and computer configuration, PrivatePDF waives all legal responsibility for:từ chối mọi trách nhiệm pháp lý đối với:

Any data loss or file corruption during processing.
Your files having font errors or formatting after conversion.

7. Applicable Law

These terms are governed by the current laws of Vietnam. All disputes will prioritize resolution through negotiation and mediation.
